Meet Jennifer Hart: Our New Director of Embryology Relations

June 13, 2024 – (Fairfax, VA) Fairfax EggBank, a premier frozen donor egg bank in the United States, is pleased to announce the expansion of their Scientific Team under the leadership of Dr. Wes Edmonds, Ph.D. HCLD. As a part of this expansion, the team will be welcoming a new Director of Embryology Relations to provide enhanced support to IVF clinic partners and their embryology labs.

Jennifer Hart, M.S., T.S. (ABB), joins Fairfax EggBank as new Director of Embryology Relations. In this role, Jennifer Hart will serve as the primary contact for Fairfax EggBank’s IVF clinic partners and will provide guidance to labs using Fairfax EggBank donor eggs and serving as a valuable resource for proprietary state-of-the-art freezing and warming protocols required by each receiving clinic. With over 20 years of IVF laboratory experience, Jennifer is passionate about advancing the field of embryology. Her passion extends to the many advances artificial intelligence can offer to improve efficiency and objectivity in the laboratory. She feels strongly that proper support in the laboratory is a key ingredient to the success of any IVF clinic.

Jennifer will play a key role in ensuring Fairfax EggBank quality assurance policies and procedures are strictly enforced.

Originally from Chicago, Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in 2001 and her master’s degree in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2006. She is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysts (ABB) as a Technical Supervisor in both Embryology and Andrology. Jennifer relocated to the St. Louis area in 2002, shortly after beginning her career in the field of infertility.  She founded and currently spearheads the St. Louis Area Reproductive Society that meets quarterly to provide education and career development connections for IVF laboratory staff and physicians. Jennifer looks forward to being able to offer support and resources to our partner clinics as a member of the Fairfax EggBank team.
