If you are interested in donating your eggs, read on to learn more about the benefits of being an egg donor and how you can start your egg donor journey!
All of our egg donors donate for altruistic reasons; through extensive screening, including a thorough mental health evaluation, Fairfax EggBank assesses donor maturity and readiness, and only accepts donors who have a genuine interest in helping others.
Some women donate because they, as mothers themselves, want to provide that gift of motherhood to someone else. Other women have had someone in their life suffer from infertility and want to make a difference by supporting someone in need. We also have women who don’t plan on having kids in the future, so they are willing to donate their eggs to families in need.
Fairfax EggBank egg donors are paid for completing the testing and screening phase. You’ll be reimbursed for the time and effort you put into each stage. There is even an egg donor travel program available to help cover travel expenses for accepted applicants during the final stages of the donation cycle.
Egg donation takes a special kind of person who understands that this is an investment of their time for giving an incredible gift. Reimbursement is for the time and effort of going to doctors appointments, getting blood tests, self-administering injections, and taking time off for the retrieval day.
Because Fairfax EggBank considers our egg donors to be amazing individuals, and understands how intensive the process is, donors are provided generous monetary reimbursements after completing an egg donation cycle.
We want our donors to have a positive experience from start to finish and will make every effort to support them throughout their journey. We want to give women the opportunity to donate their eggs to a recipient or couple who will benefit from them and then thank our donors in a way that will benefit them as well.
Egg donor reimbursement doesn’t just stop after retrieval. Fairfax EggBank appreciates the power of referrals; egg donors are eligible to earn up to $1,000 each time they refer someone who ends up cycling as a donor.
In addition to being reimbursed, you will have full support for insurance and medical testing while donating eggs with Fairfax EggBank. Donors will be insured by Fairfax EggBank through the egg donation process to cover the medical expenses related to their donation cycle. In addition, donors receive thousands of dollars’ worth of free medical and genetic testing.
If you think the benefits of becoming an egg donor align with your desires, it’s time for next steps and discussing with Fairfax EggBank!
